Alaska Nordic Racing offers the Eagle River Masters. This is a year round training program for all levels and abilities. Regardless of ability this program brings together masters to learn more about cross country skiing and work on technique and conditioning all year long. This group is made up of Eagle River, Palmer, Wasilla and Anchorage athletes. It is primarily based out of Eagle River with some work out sessions extending throughout the Anchorage Bowl.
Winter Session
This session works on technique, aerobic conditioning, strength and waxing skills.
Goals are set for the individual to include:
Fitness & Fun: for the skier who just want to come and ski.
And/Or
Racing & Structure: for the skier who has goals of racing, we will provide race, wax and coaching support along with a detailed training plan for your success.
Tour of Anchorage: All skiers are encouraged to ski the tour at the end of the session. Race support will be provided.

Summer Session
Approximately May 15-August 30
Summer training will include hiking, biking, strength, roller skiing for some and run/walking. Conditioning will be for general fitness but also geared towards cross-country skiing.
Fall Session
Get in shape for the upcoming ski season with this 6 week ski specific dryland exercise program. There will be opportunities for some on snow sessions weather permitting.
Uniforms
Uniforms and training jackets are available upon request at any time. Please allow 3 weeks for delivery. See uniform order form in the Registration and Forms link below.
Note: You will also need to be a member of the Eagle River Nordic Ski Club. Please make checks payable to ANR. (Program fees go to coaches fees and the overall development of Alaska Nordic Racing.)

Alaska Nordic Racing is a cross country ski racing program that provides year-round training opportunities for Southcentral athletes of all ages.
ANR provides group training sessions, along with an individualized year-round training program, training log, coaching, waxing and support at local and national races.
Programs are available for junior through masters level skiers.
