Training Sessions & Cost
Practices are held at various venues around the Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, and Soldotna areas. Sessions run year-round. Costs varies with location. We try to be flexible, if you need customized sessions please contact one of the ANR coaches. Note: Families with two siblings, the second sibling is half price. Scholarships are available on a need basis. Please contact any ANR coach for more information.

Alaska Nordic Racing is a cross country ski racing program that provides year-round training opportunities for Southcentral athletes of all ages.
ANR provides group training sessions, along with an individualized year-round training program, training log, coaching, waxing and support at local and national races.
Programs are available for junior through masters level skiers.

Fall Session
Cost: $375, $188 for each sibling.
Runs from Aug 2-Nov 1 (start of high school cross country skiing). Three-four 1.5-2 hour sessions per week (Tu-Fr). Skiers need to be prepared for any weather conditions, and also be prepared to run and/or rollerski. If possible try to have both skate and classic rollerskis, appropriate poles, and lightweight gloves. Helmets and bright clothing are mandatory for rollerski sessions. If you have a heart rate monitor, bring it to every session as well.
